Our Headquarter with an assembly plant in Eislingen.
As founding member of the the 'Working group for dynamic storage systems', INTERTEX stands for the manufacturing of
paternosters/carousels in compliance with the strict guidelines of this group. The 'Gütegemeinschaft Dynamische Lagersysteme e.V.'
awarded INTERTEX as first German manufacturer of special-purpose carousels with freely oscillating carriers the quality
label for dynamic storage systems RAL GZ 608 recognised by the 'Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e. V.'.
Moreover, we obtained the GS sign for industrial paternosters in 1999.
We were also substantially involved in the development of the draft for the standard DIN EN 15095/A1 for
'Powered mobile pallet and shelf systems, carousels and storage lifts' as member of the DIN work group.
Our presence on the US market with about 5000 installed carousels led to the foundation of a subsidiary in Pineville, USA, in 1994.
In 1997, there was the chance to extend our product range by the acquisition of the EUROMAT manufacturing site in Aidlingen.
So, since 1997, we can also offer the EUROMAT carousel in addition to our proven products INTERMAT for storing long bars,
cylinders and drums, TEBOMAT for storing carpets, MOBILMAT as horizontal carousel system for storing products requiring quick
access at low room heights. The EUROMAT is mainly used for space-saving storage of small parts, tools and products in
warehouses as well as for storing records and documents in offices. The EUROMAT carousel is also an ideal solution
for applications in cleanrooms and for specifically controlled environment temperatures.
To become the sole manufacturer of all known dynamic storage systems worldwide INTERTEX acquired the licence for the
storage lift from Siload, an US company, at the end of 2001. By a third axis, this storage lift can manage a many times
larger storage area compared to single lifts. Today, these lifts can accommodate bundles of sheet steel or bar cassettes
with more than 3 tons cassette load. With storage and retrieval vehicles, these TOWERMAT lifts can grow with customers’
demands and accommodate total loads of some hundred tons.
